We help aspiring entrepreneurs turn their dreams of being their boss into a reality. We cater to truly small 1-2 person service-based businesses, enabling us to provide end-to-end business management and development services rather than focus on one area. Meet Our Mascot, Nitro
What would our company be without a cute mascot? Meet Nitro, adopted from the Harford County Humane Society back in February 2021. He provides entertain in the home office, provides security services, alerts me when the mail comes and guests arrive. He also likes to occasionally weight in with important proclamations on client calls, shuffle my papers around to keep me on my toes, and make sure I get my exercise chasing him around for stolen office supplies. Most of all, he is just a sweet smart, good boy who keeps me sane in this post-covid world.
A Quick Bio
I spent more than seven years in a Service & Sales Manager capacity for three different organizations responsible for helping countless consumers, business owners, and entrepreneurs achieve favorable financial outcomes. I led, coached, and developed numerous service and sales professionals to succeed in their key performance indicators such as providing exceptional client service, teamwork, integrity, asking effective questions to uncover legitimate additional client needs, making effective pitches to close more deals, maintaining compliance with important banking laws, and continuous development. My people, service, and process-driven approach lead my team members and me to great success, winning various awards and recognition. I fostered employee growth with enhanced client satisfaction, increased sales, and excellent audits on my balance scorecard. Often commended for my leadership and results, I served as a coach and mentor for new and struggling managers managers, resulting in excellent collaborative relationships with my peers.
I also spent three years as a Corporate Trainer/ Senior Training Specialist, where I performed various training and development functions. That role included managing multiple complex projects with stakeholders ranging from entry-level tellers to Executive Vice Presidents. Proficient in ADDIE and Adult Learning Theory, I used programs like Camtasia and Articulate Rise to create captivating, tailored e-learning solutions on short turn-around times without sacrificing accuracy or quality. I became certified in an intensive nationally recognized sales and service program, training all staff with direct client interaction. I facilitated technical training for new hire employees, working closely with the operations team with an eye on process improvement, transforming a two-week instructor-led class into a hybrid learning model that adopted 'just-in-time' learning. The transformation entailed developing interactive "how-to" video tutorials with features like call-outs, zoom-ins, spotlights, etc., to engage the learner.
My systematic approach to growing your business, whether strategic planning, sales, marketing, finances, efficiency through integration & automation, or anything else, focuses more on the long game. When I'm not hard at work, you'll find me spending time with my friends, family, two adorable kitties, and my handsome pup. I enjoy traveling (locally, within the US, abroad, ANYWHERE), doing just about anything and everything outdoors- hiking, camping, kayaking, on a boat, relaxing on a beach, hosting game nights and cookouts, finding new places to eat, going to work out so I can keep eating, start home projects I never finish, tinker around in the garden and with the houseplants, and go down the few hours long TikTok rabbit hole.
